“I have never had a feeling politically that did not spring from the sentiments embodied in the Declaration of Independence.”
—Abraham Lincoln
Emancipate!
But government should guarantee conditions to secure liberty for every American, similar in spirit to what Abraham Lincoln said on the campaign trail:
There is no reason in the world why the negro is not entitled to all the natural rights enumerated in the Declaration of Independence, the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.
Everyone should have the right to marry the person they love.
I would not fight against them, but the Marriage ceremony was started by the Jewish faith to set them apart from the Babylonians. The Babylonians were having sex with whom they wished, man with man and woman with woman and was considered against Gods will. They were also having sex with animals and was called Beastiality. This is why Babylon was destroyed by God.
Dear Kartua:
Thank you for sharing your opinion about this controversial issue.
I agree with you: government should do what seems most likely to effect greater safety and happiness in society, as declared of American independence.
I also agree with you about morals, best described by George Washington, who said, “Let us raise a standard to which the wise and honest can repair.”

Good for you Ronny!! According to our forefathers, every American citizen is entitled to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness without someone imposing their religious beliefs on their journey. Marriage equality IS the American way. The pursuit of happiness is a right that thousands of brave men and women are fighting to defend as we speak. When we deny anyone that right, we disrespect the sacrifice that these men and women make on a daily basis.
