On March 8, 1975, the United Nations began celebrating International Women’s Day to empower new sources of innovation against disparity.
Barbara Bush is a woman who understands. She founded Global Health Corps to create a pipeline of innovative leaders for health equity at the community level worldwide.
“A passionate voice in the global fight to confront some of the most prevalent health equity issues of our time,” says the Livingston Economic Club, describing why she was chosen to kickoff their 2012 Luncheon Speaker Series on March 8.
It is amazing that there are still women who are being hurt by men! I hope that in the near furture that someone in the public eye can start something to protect such women! Smith & Wesson did a lot to make women equal to men!
